The practice managers are involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice managers support the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also help to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Our fully trained reception and administration staff are a highly professional team who are your first point of contact with the practice either in person or over the telephone. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Sometimes the recptionists will ask for some brief information on your current needs, particuarly in urgent situations. Please help them by explaining your needs if asked to do so and they will endeavour to find the best solution to your problem. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits. We aim to provide a warm welcome to patients and aim to be as helpful as possible.
