Dr Alison Parrish (f)

(Senior Partner) MBBS MRCGP DCH PGCert | Dr Parrish qualified in 1988 at The Royal London Hospital. She has been a GP at Selsey Medical Practice for the last 20 years and has particular interests in mental and emotional health as well as gynaecology and contraceptive services. She is also an accredited GP trainer. When not at work, Alison enjoys gardening, sailing, and swimming in the sea.

Dr Rachel Jameson (f)

(Partner) MBBS BSc DCH DFFP DRCOG MRCGP Qualified in 1998 at St George's Hospital, London and has special interests in Paediatrics, Diabetes and Elderly Care medicine.

Dr Edward Ford (m)

(Partner) MB ChB MRCGP Qualified in 2005 at Sheffield School of Medicine, special interests include general medicine, paediatrics, urology, palliative care and frailty. He performs minor surgery at Selsey Medical Centre. Dr Ford supervises medical students from Brighton Medical School and begins his qualification to become an accredited trainer for Health Education England Kent, Surrey and Sussex this Autumn. Dr Ford represents the practice at the Clinical Commissioning Group. 

Dr Kingsley Poole (m)

(Partner) MA, MSc, BM.BCh, DM (Oxon) Qualified in 1996 at Oxford University. After house-jobs he undertook a doctorate in epilepsy research based at the Institute of Neurology in Queen Square, London. In 2000 he started his GP training at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, and since becoming a GP in 2003 has worked locally, excepting a year in New Zealand's North Island (2006-07) and a year in Oxford (2009-2010). Neurology is his area of special interest.

Dr Ivar Andrade Claros (m)

(Partner) MA BS MRCGP | I trained at San Simón university in Cochabamba, Bolivia, South America, I did my foundation training  at The Great  Western Hospital in Swindon. After that I was a Clinical Fellow in Orthopedics. I did my GP training in the KSS Deanery. I worked as a Locum and Salary GP before I joined Selsey Medical Practice. I am interested in musculoskeletal conditions. I play football and do road cycling and enjoy many different activities with my family.

Dr Antonia Gowan (f)

(Salaried GP) MBBS BSc DFFP DRCOG MRCGP Qualified in 1998 at St George's Hospital, London. After house jobs in London, she then went to work in Perth, Australia for 6 months, returning to Adelaide in 2003 for a further year.  In 2004 she started her GP training at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, and since becoming a GP in 2006 has worked at Selsey Medical Practice. She has a special interests in colorectal conditions and family planning. She fits contraceptive implants (Nexplanon) and leads on menopause within the practice.

Dr Arabella Sargent (f)

(Salaried GP) MB BS BSc DCH MRCGP Qualified in 2002 at Guy's King's and St Thomas. Specialist interest in paediatrics and children's health.

Dr Caroline Densham (f)

(Salaried GP) MBChB DA DCH DRCOG MRCGP Qualified in 1993 at Bristol University and held a wide variety of Junior Hospital Posts in the South West and New Zealand before going into General Practice. She has worked as a GP in Bognor Regis and then Midhurst for the last 10 years where she also worked at the Community Hospital in Elderly Rehabilitation medicine. She has a variety of clinical interests including Care of the Elderly and Gynaecology.

Dr Helen Sewrey (f)

(Salaried GP) BScMedSci, MBChB, MRCGP Qualified in 2008 from Manchester, having spent 3 pre-clinical years in St Andrews, Scotland. After a few years working in London, knowing she loved the local area moved here to complete GP training and has stayed ever since. Enjoys all aspects of G​eneral Practice but areas of particular interest include Children's health and End of life care.​

(Salaried GP) I have had a varied career in General Practice having GP- trained and worked in Cumbria for a few years before spending time as a clinical academic at the medical school at Birmingham University. I then worked in Surrey before moving to West Sussex. I am involved in GP education in the locality and have an interest in medical ethics. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors and may be seen puffing around Medmerry and swimming in the sea.
